APFA believes the fingernail industry is a rewarding career and profession, one which can carry you from Nail Technician to Educator, Competition Judge and Assessor, as well as Trade Show demonstrator and many other rolls within our wonderfully diverse industry.
APFA is the only body solely designed to serve the interests of fingernail industry, including Technicians, Educators, Distributors and Students.
Most of the industry falls under the category of 'small business' and as such are challanged by the changes affecting businesses throughout Australia. APFA membership offers you the support that you need and a voice where it counts – across all levels of government - covering issues such as training and workplace safety.
Promoting Education
Through our Accredited Exams, Nail Technicians can have their theory and practical skills assessed and join the growing ranks of Accredited Nail Technicians throughout Australia.
The Australian Professional Fingernail Association actively promotes continual education at all levels of the industry, to expand on your knowledge and experience.
Membership
Being an APFA member entitles you to discounts for: Insurance, Magazines, Educational and Business classes, workshops and banking. It also gives you access to an extensive range of information and support covering areas such as Health & Safety, Infection Control Guidelines, Consumer Guidelines and so on.
As an APFA member, you will be able to display the APFA logo and Membership Certificate proudly in your workplace, so your clients know you are a member of an industry body who works to improve hygeine standards, encourages education and endorses safe work practices.
When a client contacts APFA for recommendations, APFA only endorses APFA members.
Discounts & Services
APFA has arranged special discounts and services for banking and insurance for APFA members only.
